Wicked Words - College Project 2017

Wicked Words combines satirical poetry with surreal collage. The series was created to comment on current affairs in a witty, lighthearted and sometimes provocative manner.

Created, and later published, by copywriter James Guy and art director Chelsea Graff - 2017. 
Wicked Words was carefully crafted to fit into almost any context. Originally, the series was made to act as a visual breather in between monotonous walls of information. We later realised just how easily our work could be adapted to suit the majority of brands discussing current affairs.
The series was thus repositioned to be used for Huffington Post South Africa’s website, new instalments of Wicked Words would be created in relation to current news stories and affairs. I guess you could say we enjoy making light of serious situations.
